General Settings

This article will guide you through changing general project-related settings for your project using the Settings button on the project home page. Configuring these settings allows you to customize various aspects of your project, including its name, content scope, privacy settings, and more.

Accessing the Projects Section

To manage your project settings, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your NGage 360 account.
  2. Navigate to the main menu and click on the 'Projects' link.

This will take you to the Projects section, where you can see a list of all your current projects.

Accessing the Settings Page

Once you are in the Projects section, follow these steps to access the project settings:

  1. Select the Project: Find the project you want to configure from the list. Click on the project name to go to the Project Details page.

  1. Name of the Project:

    • Edit Name: Enter a new name or edit the current name for your project in the 'Project Name' field to better reflect its purpose or content.
  2. Scope of Content:

    • Select Scope: Decide the scope of the content the project will use. You can choose between:
      • Training Content Only: The AI agents will only use the content you have specifically uploaded for training.
      • Training and Model Content: The AI agents will use both your training content and pre-existing model content for a broader knowledge base.
  3. Do Not Store Training Content Option:

    • Enable/Disable Option: Enable this option to prevent NGage 360 from storing your training content. This can be useful for sensitive or proprietary information.
  4. Privacy Setting:

    • Set Privacy: Choose the privacy level for your project:
      • Public: The project and its agents can be accessed publicly.
      • Private: The project and its agents are private (cannot be accessed publicly).
  5. Enable Notification:

    • Enable/Disable Notifications: Check or uncheck this option to enable or disable notifications for your project.
  6. Enable Notification Sound Option:

    • Enable/Disable Sound: Check or uncheck this option to enable or disable notification sounds for agent interactions.
  7. Enable Voice Support Option:

    • Enable/Disable Voice: Check or uncheck this option to enable or disable voice support for your AI agents. Enabling this allows users to interact with the chatbot using voice commands through their mic.

Saving the Settings

Once you have configured all the desired settings, follow these steps to save your changes:

  1. Save Changes: Click on the 'Save Settings' button to apply and save all the changes you have made to the general project settings.
  2. Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation message indicating that your settings have been successfully updated.
